Your Privacy Is Important!

Your privacy on the Internet is important to us, and because we gather certain types of information about our users, we want you to understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. What Information Do We Gather?

Listocity gathers two types of information about users:

1. Personal data, provided through voluntary registration.
2. Aggregated data, which tracks users as a whole.

Personal data may be requested when you sign up for Listocity's member services or register for contests, sweepstakes or other promotional programs offered on our service. We ask for this in order to provide you with the best Web experience possible. This information might include member name, password, age, gender, zip code and/or country information. Except as described below, it is not disclosed to parties other than Listocity and its parent companies in any way that personally identifies you without your prior permission.

Aggregated data, which tracks Listocity user activity as a whole rather than on an individual basis, is gathered through several methods. This tracking data follows Listocity's traffic patterns and also provides advertisements and content data based on your geo location.

Aggregated tracking information also helps us to determine which areas of our site users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. Listocity does not track what you read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you. We may disclose such aggregated information to third parties such as our advertisers and partners.

How Listocity Uses Information

Listocity uses any personal information that's voluntarily given by you in order to enhance your experience, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the site or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users. Listocity also uses information that you voluntarily provide in order to send electronic newsletters and notifications.

Listocity will disclose information that personally identifies you to parties other than Listocity in the following situations:

1. When the purpose and manner of disclosure is clearly defined in advance.
2. When the user requests information or posts an ad. If you sell your vehicle, your phone number and/or contact details may be provided.
3. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is legally required or to protect our rights.

Listing / Profile Information

This is information we receive from you through our registration and listing option process. It includes information such as: your name, email address, location, telephone number and other listing details. This information is not sold to any 3rd parties, but may be used internally. Your location (city / state) is displayed on your profile page, listing detail page and throughout any profile cards displayed for your profile. Your phone number is only posted if you choose to provide it when posting an ad or submit a listing.

Listocity Purchases

Information you provide about yourself during a listing purchase through our site is strictly confidential and is not used for anything other than the purchase and verification. This includes credit card and personal contact information

Listocity Partners

Listocity cannot control the practices of other partners and advertisers. If you have provided personal information to a party or advertiser connected with Listocity and have not been informed by Listocity as to its purpose, contact them directly by going to their home page and looking for a company profile or information area.

It is important to note that Listocity contains many links to sites other than Listocity, and that those sites may not follow the same privacy policies as us. For instance, if you click an ad or a search result on Listocity, this will take you away from Listocity and to an entirely different site. This includes links from advertisers, content providers and partners who may use Listocity's Logo of a co-branding agreement. These sites may send their own cookies to you, and as a result, may collect data and ask for personal information that Listocity would not.

Email Alerts / Newsletters

Listocity offers free, electronic newsletters as a service to our users, based on a voluntary subscription. You will only receive a newsletter if you have requested it directly from our signup form. We do not sell newsletter mailing lists to any third parties, including advertisers or partners, however we do place ads within our letter. You may occassionaly receive updates from Listocity about new services we offer and the like.

Changes to Policy

Listocity reserves the right to change this policy at any time with or without notifying members of the existence of a revised privacy policy. It is the members responsibility to keep up to date on any revisions to our privacy policy.

Delete/Deactivate Policy

You may unsubscribe to our electronic newsletter at any time simply by unsubscibing yourself in the same place you signed up. Or you may follow the instructions contained at the end of newsletters.
